Bonds market

Investing in bods

According to MARKETS INSIDER

I would choose, Frontier Communications Corp. In this case since it has a high return 63.33%.I am interested in it since it is a bond which can be traded in the over-the-counter market because it mature in 2025, I chose it among various companies with high levels of performance, since the frontier company has existed since the 30s, that is, the reliability of being a robust company.

My other two options are us treasury bonds, first  U.S. Rates 6 Months, because I would like to have money in a near period of time, and the second one is U.S. Rates 5 Years. In this case I would like, for the opposite reason of the previous one, to have a future income, plus an interest gain.

In addition, given that the period is relatively long, there is the possibility that you can sell it in the over-the-counter market.

It is important to note that the three types of bonds combine terms, in addition to the fact that one is from a private entity, in which there is more risk of non-payment and the last two are almost certain of payment since they are government bonds. It is important to note that my choice goes hand in hand with the theory of trying to diversify the investment portfolio.

Eurobonos in CR

First of all, it is important to note that the idea of government bonds is a correct aspect since it is a way to obtain fresh resources that can enter the economy, the issue in all this is the country's ability to pay.

Although it is true that many characteristics of the country can allow it to persuade European foreigners that it is a reliable country from which to buy bonds, democracy in the country and a relatively stable financial system are factors in favor.

But you must be very careful because you must analyze the term and the interest rate that is going to be paid for said bonds. The reason is that when the day of maturity of said bonds arrives, if it do not have the ability to pay, country will have to resort to acquiring new debts, causing new obligations for the country.
